Higher prices are generally offered for complete boards with the original controller IC, motor driver IC, ROM (firmware) chip, SATA connector, voltage regulators, and other major electronic components intact. Boards with missing or harvested components may receive a lower offer.
5. Board Condition
We prefer boards that are complete, clean, dry, and structurally intact. Minor scratches, normal wear, and light oxidation are acceptable. Boards with severe corrosion, fire damage, broken PCBs, or excessive contamination may receive a reduced price or may not be accepted.
6. Mixed Board Loads
Mixed electronic circuit boards are accepted. However, mixing Western Digital HDD SATA controller boards with lower-grade circuit boards may reduce the average buying price. Sorting boards by type is recommended for the best value.
7. Inspection Process
