Ohata Shoji America is accepting qualifying televisions for Free TV drop off recycling at our Seattle Yard.
This service provides individuals a local option for responsibly recycling unwanted televisions with weekend hours available.

Free Recycling Guidelines
Ohata currently accepts qualifying televisions up to 85 inches.
Customers may bring 1–2 televisions per visit for free recycling. By accepting these items, Ohata helps direct unwanted electronics back into the appropriate e-waste recycling stream, where materials can be responsibly processed and recovered.
There is no recycling fee for televisions that meet our current acceptance requirements.
Our television acceptance policy is subject to change based on recycling requirements, processing availability, and other operational considerations.
Working Televisions
Ohata accepts televisions for recycling only and does not purchase TVs for resale value.
If your television is still in good working condition, we encourage you to first consider reuse, donation, or resale to help extend the useful life of the device.
If reuse is not an option, you are welcome to bring an eligible television to Ohata for recycling.

Accepted Condition

Qualifying televisions do not need to work. TVs with ordinary wear or missing accessories such as stands and remotes may still be accepted.

- Yes. Broken and non-working televisions. Televisions with damaged or cracked screens will not be accepted if damage to screen is severe.
- 4. Do I need the remote or TV stand?
- No. TVs may generally be accepted without their remote, stand, or other accessories.
- 5. How many TVs can I bring?
- The current free drop-off program is generally intended for **1–2 televisions per customer per visit**. Please contact Ohata Shoji before bringing larger quantities.
- 6. Do you recycle other electronics?
- Yes! Ohata Shoji handles many categories of electronic scrap and recyclable electronics. Most electronic materials may also qualify for purchase depending on their type, condition, quantity, and current market value.
- 7. What types of TVs can I drop off?
- We accept many common television types, including LCD, LED, plasma, OLED, QLED, Smart TVs, rear-projection TVs, portable TVs, TV/DVD combination units, and commercial displays. Good condition, no burnt, excessive dirt damage, or wet Tv's will be accepted.
- 8. Do I need an appointment to drop off a TV?
- No appointment is needed for regular drop-offs during business hours. Ohata’s existing Seattle Yard guidance also recommends contacting the team in advance for unusually large loads or equipment requiring special unloading assistance.
- 9. Where do I bring my TV?
- Bring qualifying TVs to Ohata Shoji America Inc., 423 S Horton St Unit B, Seattle, WA 98134 during current business hours. Walk-in customers are welcome for regular loads, minimum purchase weight is 1lbs!
- 10. Is there a size limit for TVs accepted for free recycling?
- Yes. Ohata Shoji currently accepts qualifying televisions up to **85 inches** for free TV recycling at our Seattle warehouse. TVs larger than 85 inches are not accepted through our standard free drop-off program. If you are unsure about your TV’s size or eligibility, please contact our Seattle Yard before bringing it in.
