Free Recycling Guidelines

Ohata currently accepts qualifying televisions up to 85 inches.

Customers may bring 1–2 televisions per visit for free recycling. By accepting these items, Ohata helps direct unwanted electronics back into the appropriate e-waste recycling stream, where materials can be responsibly processed and recovered.

There is no recycling fee for televisions that meet our current acceptance requirements.

Our television acceptance policy is subject to change based on recycling requirements, processing availability, and other operational considerations.

Working Televisions

Ohata accepts televisions for recycling only and does not purchase TVs for resale value.

If your television is still in good working condition, we encourage you to first consider reuse, donation, or resale to help extend the useful life of the device.

If reuse is not an option, you are welcome to bring an eligible television to Ohata for recycling.

Recyclable Material

Although Ohata does not purchase televisions, TVs contain materials that may be recovered through the recycling process.

  • Circuit Boards

  • Copper Wiring and Coils
